Partclone fail

  1. last year

i successfully captured an Ubuntu image and tried deploying it to another identical system but it fails. See screenshot attached that it fails at. The image type is set to block.

This specific Ubuntu drive is using LUKS encryption. Would this cause this?

Seems like it may have something to do with the encryption. Nothing is coded specifically to handle this. Can you attach the upload log and the failed deploy log?

  3. i think its something to do with the encryption as well. There are 3 partitions and only the encrypted partition seems to fail during the deploy.

sure thing. where do i find these logs on the clonedeploy server?

It's in the web ui. If the computer is registered it's under that computer->logs. If it's on demand it's in Admin->Logs

  5. go it. here you go!

  6. any luck with the logs?

There is an issue with partition table not being recreated. In the image profile under deploy options I would try selecting force dynamic for exact hdd match. It's probably a long shot but worth a try. If it doesn't work, then the encryption just isn't supported right now.
