I updated to 1.3.5 and now my images are not being renamed. During the deploy processes it says that it has found the file and renamed it, but the computer is still named "crucibleWDS" Did something change from 1.2 to 1.3?
I recently upgraded from 1.2.1 to 1.3.5. Everything is working well, except I cannot create a new ISO image. The server downloads a clientboot.iso, but its only 5k. I'm assuming I'm missing something on the server side that creates the ISO before the download?
Thats not a bad idea. Thanks.
Is there a way to make a USB bootable to only go to a specific distribution point when using On Demand? I have a school that needs to image from usb bootable (bad nics in the laptops) with a USB NIC. I'd like to be able to make them a usb drive that will only connect to their distribution point as they aren't on a fiber network.
I hope this makes sense.
What was in there didn't work for me, thats for sure. I had to use the code from the version I have attached to this post.
This file was NOT updated in the 1.2.1 update. I had to re-modify the cd_push to fix the issue again. Please include this fix in future updates and patches.
Any computer running an On Demand task does not show up in the tasks tab of Clone Deploy. Any way we can change that?
Great, thanks for the information. That 3350 is a real pain, hopefully Dell phases it out shortly.
Yes, and although that works, it breaks other things. Is there instruction on how to build your own kernel? I've done it a few times, but I can't remember without some instruction. For me to add a computer I have to change my entire PXE environment and then other models won't boot correctly. I'm getting more and more 3350s in my environment and would like to have 1 kernel for all models if possible.
Thanks for your help.
Does anyone have a newer kernel that supports the 3350? It would be nice to have 4.7 or newer with support for the 3350.
