Wake on lan

When multicasting, some computers will wake up and some don't. I to snot consistent, so computers that wake up on one multicast, may not wake up on the next test. How best to troubleshoot?

The wake on lan magic packet is always sent when a task is started, but in my experience wake on lan just isn't reliable. As you have seen sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I can assure you the packet was sent but for whatever reason the computer just isn't waking up. This could be the network or the machine itself just not acting properly. Finally wol cannot cross broadcast domains, so your CloneDeploy server can only potentially wake up computers on the same subnet. The WOL feature isn't intended to be relied upon, its just to maybe save you the hassle of turning on some computers.
