Removing GPT tables

  • I am running into a lot of computers with mixed partitions (GPT and MBR). This causes clonedeploy to hang at "looking for hard drives". I then have to boot into the console run sgdisk -z /dev/sda removing any remaining GPT tables and continue with deploying my image. My question is, can I add the code (sgdisk -z /dev/sda) to a script that runs automatically. When uploading an image there is an option to remove GPT but not with deploying images.

    Thank you,
    George

  • webui->global->imaging scripts->edit core scripts->select cd_global_functions from the drop down.

    Search for
function get_hard_drives()
    {
a few lines after that you will see
parted -l &>> $CLIENT_LOG
Delete that line and save changes, that should take care of it.
