File BCDx86 is missing when booting to WinPE
Hello and Happy New Year to everyone.
I would like to ask a question regarding WinPE environment build on Linux machine ( CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 ).
After merging the tftpboot directory with structure produced by ClonedeployPE Builder, when booting I got this message.
Not sure but it probably tries to insert escape symbol ( \ ) in front of path of BCDx86 files. All file and directory permissions are set to apache user and group. Please help.
Grab this file and place it in your tftpboot directory
Add
-m /tftpboot/remap
to the tftp options
Restart the tftp service
Thank you for you prompt answer.
Looks like this directory tftpd-hpa is missing from my distro ( Centos 7 )
[root@CloneDeploy etc]# pwd
[root@CloneDeploy etc]# ls -al default/
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Dec 16 12:15 .
drwxr-xr-x 69 root root 4096 Jan 3 04:10 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1756 Oct 30 07:53 nss
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 119 Oct 30 14:54 useradd
I'll try to adapt to this distro and will update
That's correct it would be in the service I believe.
Now the first line disappeared and the error message looks that:
I have increased the verbosity of tftpd and found this in log. Please see attached files.
Did you use the latest version of WinPE builder? 1.2.1?
Did you use the latest version of WinPE builder? 1.2.1?
I'm using 1.2.0 ( provided in tutorial link Building the WinPE Imaging Environment ) Thought the is the final version. Here is the link:
This may be the problem I'll try with 1.2.1 version.
Thank you very much.
Everything is working with version 1.2.1
Again thank you for help and great software.
