Deploying same image to like device getting following error

  • Getting the following during the deploy :
Unknown error determining the Min HD Size req'd

    During the Processing stage.

The image being deployed is from an exact HW match build from HP.
The Secure Boot and Sure Recover have been disabled in the Bios.

  • Do you have the upload log?

  • What dir is this located as I only have 2 logs in the CD folders and upload isn't one of them.

  • It's in the webui. Computers->search->view->logs,

or if it's not registered, Admin Settings->Logs->On demand

  • I see front end logs and Application log, but not anything called upload log

  • ahhh I see it one mine

  • That's the deploy log, do you have the upload? There is an export option for the log and you can attach it.

  • @clonedeploy_admin SC-AFG-HPLT1-upload.txt

I have uploaded the upload log now. from the Master Image.

  • Strange, looks normal. In the webui if you select images, then view on this image, then schema. Does the page load or throw an error?

  • @clonedeploy_admin it goes to the Schema page, but it is empty and no errors

  • That's your problem, the schema file is missing and probably all of the image files.

I see in your logs you uploaded to a distribution point named local_default but when you deployed you are connect to a dp named imageserver.

It looks like you moved the image storage location. Did you move the images over?

  • @clonedeploy_admin it is showing up here:
    C:\Program Files\CloneDeploy\cd_dp\images\SC-AFG-HPLT1
It has a dir called hd0
a guid file and a schema file

  • and what's the directory of your distribution point set to?

  • @clonedeploy_admin ahh it is set to the new NAS folder

  • @clonedeploy_admin I corrected the path and tried again and received the same message
    here is the deployment log
    SC-AFG-HPLT03-deploy.txt

  • the path must still not be correct. What did you put it? The schema will appear in the webui when it's correct.

  • @clonedeploy_admin I put it back in (C:\Program Files\CloneDeploy\cd_dp\images)

  • C:\Program Files\CloneDeploy\cd_dp\
